This could result in reduced visibility and increased risk of a crash. The high voltage electric heater could fail on some of these vehicles as well, also resulting in reduced cabin heat and a faulty windshield defrost system. Porsche is issuing recalls for the 20 Taycan, Taycan Turbo, Taycan Cross Turismo and Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo as well as the 2022 Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo.
